Oh my gosh! It's like she has a stinger in her tail she is trying to poke you with!

Why didn't she peck you? Mine peck me mercilessly if I mess with their eggs.

I am amazed that she didn't peck you!
My broody Penny had a feather sticking out of her mouth when I checked on her and she got three pecks on my hand in quick succession when I tried to remove it. I finally told her, "Okay fine, keep your feather then!!"

Wrold is my biter but as I nicked her eggs earlier she's not quite so feisty.

Another really young bantam. They have no sense. I was surprised she didn't peck too. She was certainly making enough noise but that tail!

Most of mine don't peck but they are used to me sliding a hand under them for eggs as a regular thing. Wrold is an exception. She can be vicious.
