Now that is a good sign!I have the kiddies this morning so was a little distracted when I went to medicate my sick girl & she must be feeling quite a bit better as she managed to escape & scooted round the yard with me after her because I am not confident of being able to tell her apart from the other 2.She's stll a bit wobbly but she was running for her life.
I am picturing the chase as well.
Because we all do.I forgot to lock up the coop and run last night. I only remembered this morning after hubby said that the chooks were out when he went to release them. He mentioned that he hadn't seen them all.
Out I went in the rain and Alice came to greet me. Only Alice.
I couldn't see Edwina or Pepper anywhere. So I went to check the coop for signs of disaster.

Pepper was also laying but I wasn't quick enough with the camera.

She's super sweet. I had the next door neighbour's kid over yesterday. She's 8 & wanted to see my broodies. That''s fine. Could she pat? Silly me said yes. Kid chose Wrold. Wrold's my biter! Yep, some nipped fingers! 
She was so surprised. Lucky for her Wrold wasn't very serious about it.
That's a lovely idea but it will never happen. Both are like a bag of worms so they'd never sit still long enough for a chicken to feel comfortable about getting in their lap. And youngest is a screamer. When she gets excited she has a high pitched squeal. All my animals run from her. And she so wants to love on them!
