Ribh's D'Coopage

Thank you Grammy. It's from a tree that was in our back yard and weighs hardly anything.

I find a staff more "stabilizing" than a walking stick. You can grab them with both hands and you can get people's attention by poking them if they are far away. . . 😜
And you can prevent people from passing by! 😆

Oshina.
Still a bit of swelling around her eye but it's coming good. She's taken to hanging with Olivia a fair bit ~ which is smart as Olivia is friendly with everybody. She's a remarkable bird. Comb pale ~ she's not a great layer but that's ok. She wasn't purchased for egg production.

Such a beautiful lady. 😍

My four are all rescues. I had to get an approval letter from the vet to adopt my all black one in October because apparently people adopt black cats at Halloween and torture them.
He is about 10 years old now and spoiled rotten and it still upsets me every October when I think about that.
You are so right about the things people do to black cats at Halloween. We had an all black cat that liked to go outside and the whole month of October we had to keep him locked in. It was like torture for him.
