The call Olivia is making would have brought a hens rooster to see what the problem was in Catalonia.

And in this case it also brought a rooster - in the form of @Ribh - to see what the problem was.

Thank you, Shad. Olivia wanted to lay but Wrold was warning everyone off. She's always been feisty on the nest but I think she's getting worse. It's a pity I lost all the fertile eggs. A hatch may have calmed her down a bit.

It's such a shame you don't have males. It would add so much interest to your tribe.

Where I am considering moving I would be allowed a rooster. I am considering.... It would change the dynamics of the tribe & do I really want to do that? If I do go that way It will be a Phoenix. There's someone local there who breeds them.
