Ribh's D'Coopage

I love watching the chickens turn in. At my place Mary is usually last, but sometimes Ivy takes the honours. Peggy and Janet are always the first two up.
Yep. Here it's generally a long but peaceful process. I love watching them settle to roost too ~ especially if everyone is happy & content. They make such delightful sounds.

Not so hot. Her stumbling around is more or less stable but her crop wasn’t empty again this morning and unlike Minnie who liked a good massage pre-dawn, Maggie is not a fan and I am worried about stressing her out.
I am pretty sure she isn’t eating commercial feed but she forages keenly enough. It is raining today so I am going out to dig up some worms for her.
I have a sort of heavy feeling that this is the beginning of the end for her but she has pulled through before so I have a bit of hope.
:hugs You two are doing great together.

What hope do I have?:idunno
None! Lots of us would help you move if you weren’t so far away.

Christofur (5) left and Rascal (15). They aren’t usually this close together, Christofur likes to chase and torment Rascal. No respect for his elders.

They are adorable. 🥰

I know I'm date and time zone challenged but it's still FRIDAY here. It must still be Caturday there. Right?

Nope. It's Sunday. I've had a crappy sort of week & keep losing track.
You said it with such conviction Ribh that I totally believed you and was confused for a bit. :lau
