It's been going all morning. Desdemona has been hogging one of the nesting boxes because she's broody. Unfortunately for her the Vorwerks like that box & kept kicking her out. Shuri is in the other box that everyone likes & defending it to the death. Poor Oshina keeps getting kicked out of everywhere she's tried but she'll have to lay soon.

Not sure you'd love them quite so much if their shenanigans were happening in the Palace.

But roosters are so much noisier.

I don't know about roosters. I do know that round here a hen who wants to lay & can't find anywhere she considers suitable makes a terrible racket!

I just know some of my layers are noisy!
