Yes, Portia is moulting @ present & Lavender always did a late autumn & then a summer moult. Both frizzles. Never heard of Triple C.

I hadn’t either until the frizzle breeder showed me.

Star has become very red in her old age.

I thought I posted this, but when I came to catch up it was still sitting as a new post

I have a black cat who does that. Put him in a patch of sun & he goes a rich red/brown.

Googled it. Put out by Vetafarm. I use their stuff a lot & it seems to work.

Do chooks ever moult when it’s hot? River is moulting but I can’t work out if it’s because she’s hot or because she’s not well.

Also, have any of the Aussies used Triple C? It’s an in-water antibiotic apparently. I’ll also do a search for it on the site.

No, I've never used it.

Penguin, a Pekin/Australorp X. Penguin is a hen and has to regrow her feathers thanks to an amorous rooster. Snowy and Lottie are pullets.

Proper name: Ichthyol. It can be used for all sorts of things. Very useful stuff.
