Never knew about sussex bantams, so thanks!
Most breeds can be miniaturised though not all have been. True bantams [those with no larger counterpart] lay tiny eggs but I had a blue Australorp bantam & her eggs were medium sized & she laid way more than my true bantams ever have.

There is a Pekin bantam chicken. They are a true bantam that originated in China. They are leg & foot feathered, short, round & cute. They can require a bit of extra care. I can't remember what the others are. I think one was a Sussex bantam.
I don’t believe I’ve noticed any new feathered feet, but I will check again next time I look in on them. Penguin is the Pekin/Australorp X, Snowy is the Sussex X and Lottie is an Australorp X. They’re all bantams and all frizzled. And all very sweet! Snowy is still making baby squeaks, Lottie is making teenage noises and Penguin sounds a bit like Charlie!

I almost remembered right. :thThe Australorp explains the size of the egg. I always found my AB laid a decent sized egg.

She may not have them being a X. Feathered feet means Pekins need a pretty clean yard.

I have no idea. You are way out of my orbit when it comes to natural remedies & things of that nature.
This country is difficult and that's putting it mildly :( I scoured the internet but can't find it here at all.

The that has the same name is yellow and contains paraffin. I'll try again tomorrow I'm exhausted tonight

I do hope I'm not being a problem but if you could possibly give me some the ingredients used I could maybe try making my own.

Thanks so much for your help :)

Thank you very much this is invaluable information. I will pass this on too everyone I know with animal's and children. We have a lot of ticks here in the summer :hugs
I must admit I really hate ticks. In general I am good with creepy crawlies and generally try and catch them to feed to my Princesses But ticks send shudders down my spine!

If my nose grew for everything I investigate it would be at least 100 miles long. I just cannot stop trying to learn it's almost an obsession
