Still being deluged @ intervals. YD's lot are being deployed to help clean up the mud. Not YD as it so happens. She's not fit for deployment. She caught covid while on leave as well as having issues with the regulation footwear.

Sorry to hear about YD, my brother caught Covid as well. We’re also being deluged, the girls are not impressed!

I don’t know about the water table, that part of the garden floods like that when we’ve had excessive rain. It doesn’t do that when it rains normally.

Oh Lord that is bad. At first glance I thought those brown leaves were fish swimming in your lawn! Might as well be. I hope it stops soon and starts to dry out.

Me too, it’s securing the prospective clients that’s where I get stuck.

I've been told by a number of successful artists that you have to want to make money. The whole marketing business I find difficult and a bit distastfull. Many people who make some wondeful things fail financially because what they are really interested in is the art; the money is secondary if important at all.

I can keep tagging everyone or just post a link here for those that want to follow along. If I posted a link here we could also converse here and you could avoid mine altogether maybe.

I'm just trying to figure out how to keep our core group all together. I'd hate for us to fall apart over the size and pace of my thread.

I had exactly the same thoughts.

I'm not overly keen on the PM system. Most that I've been on turn into chat threads very quickly. Of course, a lot depends on who's in the group.

@MaryJanet and I went back and forth on PM and I think have worked out a system that is working for her. Basically she follows the people whose posts she is interested in and rather than 'to the 'watched threads' she bookmarks that individual's profile and sees where they have posted.
MJ - did I describe it right? And is it still working for you?
