We have had a few days without rain but the ground is still sodden.
Notice the wetness to the left of the stepping stones. Everything is still draining away.

I managed to mow both the front and back too. Luckily ours is an electric mower I can pick up in one hand because my boots were sinking into the ground in places!

Because I don’t have enough going on, I’m doing a quilting class with a couple work friends. The same friend who walked me through my very first quilt last time is teaching the class.

Anyway, we are doing a “Cutting Corners” quilt that usually ends up looking something like this:

Yes but last week we had a whole week of summer weather, so I guess she decided its time. Of course the last couple days have been freezing.
