Caturday. Lots of cats=lots of photos.

Toast is toasty lying on the laptop.

Spooky is toasty in my lap. Check out that sheen all you black chicken lovers!

Éowyn choose my desk to hide from that meany Toast.

For reference this is a quarter next to her paw.

My desk has been declared a demilitarized zone all week. The only really safe place for Éowyn. Toast is keeping track of her though.

It was a near thing this evening.

My 3000 word essay disappeared somewhere inside my computer.
I don't know where it went.
I don't know how I got it back.
I nearly threw in the towel.
It's due Monday & I couldn't face trying to rewrite it. So far as I know it has now gone where it belongs but golly gosh, I could throttle whoever invented a computer! I am not fit to be spoken to for @ least the next 24 hours! ​

My mother is mean, she said I had fleas and put this nasty powder all over me and set up flea trap and there wasn't a flea to be found The cheek of it all . So now I'm sulking and I'm not her friend today

Is your son tech savvy? Is there a tutorial on YouTube you could watch that helps you retrieve documents? Did you accidentally rename it to like a single character, so you're not recognising it? That's so frustrating!

I am better this morning. Son is even less tech savvy than I am. It should have been such a simple process & I have no idea why it was not.

That happened to me once, only it wasn't retrievable. The rush to retype 3 weeks of thinking was on and I learned to trust myself. It came out better than the first one. I really should delete and rewrite every time.
