Is Betty a flier as well Bob?
Betty's flying ability is severely curtained by the frizzle. Her longest wing feathers do not have anything but stem on 1/2 of them. So therefore she is not nearly the flyer that Phyllis is.

Of course I am assuming that the frizzle gene has done this to her wing feathers. Sansa had this problem before she passed because of her weird molt. Betty came to us this way so I guess I won't really know until after she molts.

Here is a better picture of the damaged flight feathers. One is even curved (frizzled?).

Good evening folks :frow

She made it overnight but I lost her early in the morning, just after I got up. 🥺 It was quick but I'm sad about it. She was very sweet. On this block I really should have no more than 12 chickens & I'm nearly @ that. Then I will look @ replacing.
So sorry about your girl :hugs :hugs

Frizzles are not fliers. Aerodynamically they don't work & as you can see her feathers will not sustain her in flight. Lavender used to get very frustrated about it. She may flap somewhat when jumping but actual flying ~ no.

My guess would be two males fighting over a lady or territory. There was a lot of feather displays there.
Yes. These pigeons usually seem to get along. They are very calm birds as a rule. There was no female in sight & the clothes line seems an odd thing to squabble over...🤣 All that mooning seemed very rude. Someone was really put out! And it's not breeding season.
