Just dropping by with more sad news - I know @Ribh you have a soft spot for my Roadrunners. Sadly Dotty died in my arms this afternoon.
Maybe I am not supposed to care for chickens. I feel like the Angel of Death right now.

Mishka’s purring! It’s quiet but it’s there. It’s been two weeks since she last purred!

I'm not a cat person, our first cat was trained like a dog... When I go to someone's house with cats, I'm the first person they climb on.

When I was a kid there was a cat that would climb up the drain pipe to get in the bedroom window of the only person in the building who hated cats.
It reminded me of that.

Oh yes, all cats love my FIL, who is very sparing with his affection!
