Cats do indeed have staff - in this case a chauffeur! No picture but I saw a lady taking her cat for a walk yesterday. Not on a lead, but carrying them in her arms. Kitty looked quite relaxed.

I'm the doorperson. Blossom doesn't see why she should have to jump up and out the window.Cats do indeed have staff - in this case a chauffeur!
I do hope she is OK.I'm a bit worried about Beatha @ present. The flock has been pretty stable since I got here & healthy. They have plenty of space. Their coop is well ventilated & there is plenty of daytime cover.View attachment 3656727
Beatha has always been something of an oddity.
She's a loner. She almost never hangs with the rest of the girls.
She & Luna have always sounded raspy & wheezy when breathing.
She's never been super active.
So when I noticed she was slow coming to roost, always off by herself & really wheezing I didn't think much of it @ first. When I checked her over she did have lice so I treated her for that. I also noticed she had a big hard lump either side of her nostrils. One has disappeared but you can still see the other. Her comb is red but she's not laying.
So I grabbed her last night for treatment: lice free, good; Vitamins to help boost her immunity; Baycox to treat any infection. She seemed exhausted when I was done with her & I was worried I'd find her cold & stiff this morning but, no. There she was @ the door with the other 3 non~broodies ~ & not @ the back either but right in front.
I do think she's not herself but how sick she actually is I have no idea. I will check her over again tonight & do what I can. I miss my blue eggs but she's valuable to the tribe for other reasons. Amongst a plethora of nut jobs she is now my lone stable hen. She's predator savvy & good with the bantams. Portia is a bully & Ha'Penny too flighty to be good with the smaller birds. Beatha is calm & pretty unflappable & up until this point she has been really hardy, surviving things that have taken out other birds.
The good news is she's still upright & pursuing her daily routine.
