Ribh's D'Coopage

The wildlife around here isn't too bright.
I found this beauty sitting in one of the cat's water dishes last night when I went to give the cats their bedtime treat.
Everyone is moulting terribly so the water dish was full of cat hair. 😖

So because I'm a kind & thoughtful co~sharer of the habitat, I relocated him to the pond, which was put in just for frogs ~ sort of.

When I shut down the house he was looking for a way back inside. 🙄
You can imagine the fun the cats would have had once he started hopping about!

He's a cutie! :love

He’s beautiful… our ginger boy Eddie would make a meal of him though!
My chickens chase and eat little frogs and salamanders. 🦎 😢

Hope the frog is fast and big enough to be safe and enjoys your beautiful pond. 🐸

Happy Caturday! Yup we have kittens again 🙄😍😣

Unfortunately this cat is not innocent. It has killed a couple doves and tried to kill a chicken. The feral cat problem here has gotten worse :(. I still love cats, but I don't know what to do with cats like this one.
Give it a home...?

Most of you know I have chronic broodies. I was hopeful, after the chick debacle, they were cured of their chronic need to sit the entire summer.
No such luck.
Chavi has been @ it for a week @ least. Today Tootsie joined her.
My bantams are almost impossible to break & the struggle is hardly worth the effort so I have given them an egg each; one of India's & one of Ha'penny's. if they are going to sit they may as well sit to some purpose. I'm not even sure the eggs are fertile but I removed the bantam eggs as I have never seen Leonard mate with any of the bantams. Leonard is hardly importunate.
Hopefully they will do better this time round but Ha'penny is an older hen & her shells are getting a little on the thin side so I am not overly hopeful this time either.
