Ribh's D'Coopage

In chicken news, my lot have coalesced into a single tribe again without the complication of chicks.
The big girls have stopped picking on Tootsie now she is not mothering but she has become very attached to me & heads over for attention whenever I am out & about.
Leonard is very good with all the girls & spreads his favours around.

The wildlife around here isn't too bright.
I found this beauty sitting in one of the cat's water dishes last night when I went to give the cats their bedtime treat.
Everyone is moulting terribly so the water dish was full of cat hair. 😖

So because I'm a kind & thoughtful co~sharer of the habitat, I relocated him to the pond, which was put in just for frogs ~ sort of.

You can imagine the fun the cats would have had once he started hopping about!

He is very pretty. I am a bit of a sucker for frogs and toads - as a kid I used to build whole neighbourhoods for them on the edge of the pond using broken flower pots, rocks etc.
I am not sure how much they appreciated my efforts - but they did like the little pond!

He’s beautiful… our ginger boy Eddie would make a meal of him though!
