Blossom had four teeth out on Monday and she coped very, very well. She had her last dose of pain medication on Thursday and is still going on her anti-inflammatory medication. She's going back for a follow-up appointment on Monday. It'll be another five weeks before her stitches dissolve. She's been sleeping a lot and zooming a lot, so I assume she's feeling pretty good without her sore teeth holding her back.

Love old cat zoomies. :love

Good to read that Blossom is feeling better.
I wonder what you mean with zooming. Can you describe this with other words?

A new neighbourhood cat scared the 🤬 out of my chickens last Thursday.

Zooming (or “the zoomies”) is just when cats run very fast through the house, or backyard, or wherever.

@BDutch All young animals are prone to having the zoomies - sudden bursts of energy where they race around with apparently no purpose.
But cats are notable in that they never really lose the urge - even ancient cats who do little more than nap in front of a fire will on occasion suddenly tear around the house at full speed.
People say dogs get the zoomies too - but in my observation the dog version looks like joy at an owner returning from work or taking them to the park. With cats it looks truly senseless - just because they feel like it.
