Congratulatons on the egg!!! That is about the color of the two green/blue eggs I have in the bator now just finishing day 1. They are just a touch more blue than that.

Thanks, Deb! Honestly, I wouldn't mind having a few more girls like Riley. She is just such an adorable, sweet thing.

How old is Riley? I have 3 Easter Eggers that I am anxiously waiting for them to start laying. They are only 19 weeks now so I know that I have a little while longer just yet. Also being winter I will probably have a bit longer of a wait. My Delawares are the same age. I have three sexlinks that started laying at about 18 weeks but of course that was summer time.

Riley is 23-24 weeks or so. By 21 weeks, all four of my younger Delaware girls had laid their first eggs, but my older girl was 23 weeks when I got hers and my Delaware, Gracie, who is about 21-22 weeks, is going into nests alot so I expect her very first soon.
