RIP Randy

Tonight we lost our Buff Cochin roo. We came home to find him missing and a few feathers in the coop. I later found more feathers through our back yard and a few blood spots in the snow. Dear hubby followed the trail of blood and feathers into the woods and found Randy....dead. I'm just heart broken

We only had him 8 months, but he fit in SO well with everyone.
I'm so sad.

We think it was a coyote as there is one who likes to come around. We had not seen him in quite some time.

I hate it when they die, especially when they are so nice,

one of my chickens died recently & I still get sad when I think about her... I'm so sorry for your loss.
