RIR 1-2wk old rotated drumstick

I aquired my new flock last night with no troubles. They are from a local farmer. All the chicks are sound minus some overgrooming and the like. But there is the little runt. The chick has its left leg instead of facing down- it's fofootia facing iinwards. The upper leg is swollen but alas I don't know how long ago this happened ect ect. I refuse to euthanize it as it is eating and drinking and hopping. Other than take it to a vet I'm out of options because I don't know if the bone can be reset...I will take a few pictures and post it online later today

Looks likely the chick has suffered from a broken leg which re-healed its self. This damage can be caused by rats.

Best cull and be done.

Surprisingly the pullet is doing fine, yes her leg is still broken and she hobbles but since she was eating and drinking and doesn't get picked on we decided to see how she does. Ah well.. nature is silly
