I hatched some of Pine Grove's (William) RIRs. I am so excited and happy to have them.

Wow, they are beautiful! Wow!

I must take some pictures of the young birds from Taterschickens. (Imogene) They are only a couple months old, of course, but still very beautiful. I am getting some more eggs from her.

I won the Lyon incubator on the auction and now I am going crazy.

Ok question--Is there a good way to distinguish the guys from the gals when they are two months old? I think I have one roo and the rest hens, but I COULDN'T be that lucky, right?

Is it only that their little combs are a bit bigger if they are a roo, or is there another way to tell?

The Imogene chicks are really lovely, VERY dark, and they are nice, too. Quiet and friendly.

Ok, thanks. I'll go out and look at them in a bit, and also try for some pictures. I am the world's WORST photographer. If there was a contest for that, I would win it.
