I hate to say it but she doesnt look show type. Her tail is too high, she is too thin overall and she is alittle light in color. When I think RIR's I think a brick as far as shape and color, lol. I know there are some good pics out there and hopefully someone will post them

I am not claiming show quality, I honestly dont know since I never show birds and dont intend to, however, these ladies are excellent quality, IMO. They are from a breeder who no longer breeds them.

These are show quality RIR, these are only about 6 months old in the pictures and had not started laying yet.

Handsome though he is, he is pretty typical of hatchery RIRs, color too light. Cant tell about the body, but his color is similar to hatchery RIR I have had. Breeder/show quality RIRs are almost black, they are so dark.

yeah i noticed they r quite abit darker then mine...however does that mean hes not any good for a show? though aussie standards are diff to americans right? also...how do i breed a darker colour if i only have hatchery 1's? and 1 more...is it really that obvious hes from a hatchery? lol i have not mentioned 1ce he is n u all picked it up straight away! thats awesome! i wanna know if its just the colourings or is it more then that thats the giveaway?
