Yeah he will be put with a separate breeding project setup, I wish he had blue spots that would look cool I think, we will see in 5-7 monthsI'm sorry, I kinda dislike the word cull. It seems to be a word some use as an excuse to kill their unwanted animals. I'm learning too!
My roo named "BLU" , his feathers look blue when they shine in the sun. He's that funny looking one in my avatarYeah he will be put with a separate breeding project setup, I wish he had blue spots that would look cool I think, we will see in 5-7 months![]()
The first set of hens were from tsc and the roo from a local breeder, 3 years ago, along the way the original 3 hens have passed due to predators but I managed to hatch some daughters of whom I've bred back to the original roo, I've since then hatched grands, the hens in the pic with the original roo. This blue neck feller is the product of that combination ( btw his feathers are getting brighter and bigger looks even more beautiful)I think tsc Rhode Island reds have the greenish/blueish color, mine looked identical to yours and turned out beautiful, and ended up looking just let it Rhode Island was suppose to.
