My first chick hatched yesterday, and I am no genetics expert, so I was wondering, What it will look like when it is older? It is a golden chick with darker rusty colored patch on its back. The dad was a Rhode Island red, and its mother is a Buff Naked Neck. I will post pics when I get home from work tonight!

My guess is somewhere between red and buff, sort of a golden reddish-buff. At least that what i'm told you'll get if you were to cross
RIR with a Buff Orpington.
