well one of these girls is verry congested and snezing I took her away from her sisters but if one has it they all have it right?

This ia Agatha, she's a little lighter, but you can get an idea of her blocky shape.

This is Penny on the lfet & Agatha on the right.
Penny is a hatchery bird, more of a production red that a true RIR. Note the differences in the body shape.

I hope you all don't mind me highjacking this...... I have 6 RIR's and 5 out of the 6 are a very deep deep red. But just one of them is alot lighter. All these chicks are from a guy who gets his chicks on the internet, from a hatchery. I didn't want babies at the time so I paid him a little more to get them at 8 weeks. They are about 7 months now.

So what is everyones opinion about this color problem????

Most of them are very dark with the black like rooster's pictures.

wow nice birds ya mine are not that wide they look just like penny.are they the same in all other ways?

For the most part, yes.
Penny dosen't have as much of the black on the tail feathers.
They lay the same size brown eggs.
