I would NEVER do this!!!
Only chicks from very safe sources, or my own hatchlings, ever integrate with my flock. Having to kill my birds, some having genetics running back over 25 years, would be awful.
If it's ever necessary here, it won't be because I 'just had to have' some birds right now!
Plan on Silkies from one safer source next spring instead.
Quarantine actually means 300+feet or more downwind from your flock, with totally separate everything, and testing for Marek's, Mycoplasma, and avian leukosis at least.
