Roach back rooster

My 4-ish month old Ameraucana rooster has developed roach back, with the hump just under the saddle feathers. I understand this is a genetic condition, will it affect his ability to father offspring (provided the hens will let him - they are distinctly unimpressed) or be passed on to any of his chicks?

It doesn't seem to bother him otherwise.

Rats. That's disappointing, because I love his coloration. Oh well, I guess he goes to freezer camp. Thanks for your input!
