Ok this is giong to sound stupid but what do you mean by pip, i hear everyone saying it but have noc lcue what it means myself?

Yup! The pip is the first hole, it may take 24-48 hours afterwards for the last of the yolk to be absorbed and the blood vessels around the egg to shut down, until the zipping begins- when the chick starts to make a hole around the shell! Hope this helps!

Don't worry about not rocking or peeping -- mine practically BURST out of their shells when they're ready -- sometimes they go to day 19 or more -- and once they're out, they MAKE UP FOR IT! It's like animated popcorn in there!
