No, I remembered the lighter part. The part I forgot was to mark the tube. When I went in I went slowly. I did feel the bottom of the crop through the tube. Then I backed off maybe 2" then pushed the syringe slowly and looked for any kind of distress. There was none, then I pinched the tube when I was done so that nothing that was left would spill into the air way.
Well done!

Ok, well that was different. I tubed him. Start to finish about 45 seconds. I mixed up raw egg & powdered vitamins, not to much tho.
I got about 25cc in him. Man I hope it's not to late. He feels like skin & bones.
Everything went well except that little bit of pus. It wont come out.

But then won't that be to much at one time? That would be 150ml in one shot food + water. Can his crop handle that?
They say total crop volume = 5% of their body weight, so his total crop volume should be close to 180 ml. I'm not suggesting that, for now, I think you should stick to the 100-120 ml until he gets used to you tubing him.

Let me go do an experiment... gonna mix up 60 ml of kaytee and figure out how much of that is water and how much is powder.
