Roo got attacked now his ear is swollen, puss and watery

Do I have to refrigerate the penicillin after opening? Sorry but I cant read the bottle that well.
Tom
Do you have photo of the Penicillin that you have?
If you are using Dura-Pen that is normally found in the refrigerated section of Tractor Supply - then Yes, refrigerate it.

Yes, all injectable medications should be kept in the fridge after opening them, and even before for penicillin. You can draw it up and leave it out for a half hour to come to room temperature before giving it. Can you confirm that it is procaine penicillin G? Some penicillins may be given less often, so just want to check.

See the white cheesy material—that and the bulge under the eyelid is all pus, and needs to come out. The ointment will not help until that is gone. Check to see if the eye ball is intact. Doxycycline can treat either respiratory or a bacterial injury. Here is a link for fish doxycycline, and we can get dosage later:

Edited to say that I posted the wrong link—here is the one for doxycycline

Ok, I worked on his eye for 10 mins. Dislodge a lot of pus, my wife almost puked. The eye looks like a deflated balloon now. I saw a little gray in the eye to I don't know what that is,anyway there is a little pus left I couldn't get out, about the size of a 1/4 pea. It was about 1/4" down, I squeezed and squeezed it wouldn't move.
I also had trouble with the antibiotic. I put it in his breast and push down the plunger and it didn't move, so I pulled out a little and it went in only to drip out of the breast. I dont know how much stayed in there. So, that's where I'm at.

Good for getting more pus out.
Give the wife a hug.
