As long as you collect eggs within three days of them being laid, none of them will develop into chicks. Even if you collect them a week or two after being laid, they most likely won’t develop unless you have a hen sitting on them 24/7.When do they start crowing??
As long as we collect eggs daily & they arent incubated, we can still eat them correct?
Seems like that happens with blue sex links like Sapphire Gems a lot more than with regular black sex links. I'm not sure why.Oh really?! Oh then probably was right bin just wasn't sexed right
I think because the white head spot on the males is less defined in the blues.Seems like that happens with blue sex links like Sapphire Gems a lot more than with regular black sex links. I'm not sure why.
That's probably it.I think because the white head spot on the males is less defined in the blues.![]()
He's very likely to do some crowing. There's always the chance he could turn mean, but most roosters do not.Omg....well I guess now we have a rooster!
Does that mean he's gonna get mean?? And crow like crazy??
He's so very sweet & kinda clumsy & timid...which is kinda funny now that I am learning He's a rooster!
The barring on the hackle, wings and sickles does look darker, but other areas look very blue on my screen.Ya head spots don't always show well on blue.
Is the bird pictured blue? Swear it looks black on my phone.
