Hello. I have 9 chicks that are around 9 weeks old and I'm pretty sure 4 or 5 of them are Roos. I've attached pictures, so let me know if you need more views. The first one in particular has not really expressed rooster characteristics, so I'm at a loss. Please let me know what you think. Thank you! Also, if you know breeds, please let me know. That's also a mystery here.

The first one, a gold laced wyandotte, might be a pullet.
Then, I think: Barnevelder cockerel
I'm not sure on the splash one and a sebright cockerel
Thank you! That's what I thought but I wasn't sure.

It looks like they're maybe some mixing in a few of them.

The GLW's lacing looks incorrect. You'd expect to see that pattern on a cockerel, but it doesn't appear to be one. Maybe it will feather out a bit different.

The barnevelder looks right. I think these mature into beautiful roosters.

The seabright should have a very distinctive rose comb with a point at the top. This one has a single.

All these breed inconsistencies are within the realm of "hatchery quality".

But I agree with the Majority on gender. All cockerels with the exception of the GLW, who may also be one.

I didn't even notice the straight comb...

I'm on a bit of a seabright kick at the moment. Trying to get that crested frizzle SB. Failing miserably.

I haven't even heard a sebright like that existed! Tried to search it up, failed miserably🤣. Can't blame you for wanting them though, they're beautiful birds
