Yes, that dark blue is slate and he's a Aussie. He's definitely NOT an Ameraucana - the single comb is enough to tell, plus he has no beard/muffs.

And yes, I'm sorry, but the Ameraucana is a boy. Bummer

How can you tell the blue is a boy? What are the things i need to look for so i dont trade them back in for another boy.

Well, it's hard to tell sometimes with AMs, but that boys comb is very, very red for him to be that young. Basically, avoid those with any red in the comb before 5 months of age in my experience.
