room for guineas

how much coop and run space are you giving your guineas? all three dimensions.

mine are now free ranging but i raised them until maturity in a 10' wide 25' long with a 12 wide 8 long shed
there was 13 of them

I asked this question because we have sixteen in the brooder and we have the choice of using the smaller side of a shed 10' x 10' x 9ish " (roof slopes from 10" to 8") already cleaned out for the purpose, or using the larger side full of useful stuff id like to keep out of the weather. we could triple the coop space by re-arranging.

had planned on housing turkeys in the larger side but that project is on hold due to slow winter work and rash of unexpected opportunities to play handy man around the house.

im about to build the run and still want a few turkeys the plan is looking like about 200 square feet in the run. and i'm seeing how fast these keets are growing and how much they want to get about.

we plan to let them out in the afternoon but want them to be happy enough to return and healthy well adjusted critters and all you know.

If i still want turkeys i'm gonna have to find a way to go bigger arn't I?
