Roost for silkies

Hi all. I am currently finishing up my new coop for my babies. I have 10 silkies in a 8 1/2 x 4 coop and its 8 ft tall. This is the first time I have had silkies and I'm wondering what you all do for roosts and poop boards. I have seen some say that they don't roost. But I was hoping to do the deep litter method but I don't want them sleeping on the floor in their poop. Any help would be appreciated

Mine roost but I have a ladder they can walk up to the roost. I think my roost is 3 feet and 4 feet, I have two roosts I should of said.
