Rooster attacks hen

I have an Americana Rooster that’s over a year old and he’s attacking one hen. Whenever he sees her he makes a big noise and charges her. She’s very stressed and goes to a nesting box to get away from him. What can I do to stop this behavior. He’s going to kill her I’m afraid.

I would remove him from the flock. Once he kills that hen he may target another. There too many good roosters to tolerate a human or hen aggressive one.

I had a drake duck that only wanted one hen out of 11. He went down the road and unfortunately is in someone else's freezer camp as I could not rehome him. I tried my best but no one wanted a drake. You need to protect that hen. Separate him and decide if you want to keep him and keep him away from her or rehome him. Sorry for this situation but it happens with birds and sometimes that is the only answer.
