We butchered two rooster tonight for Easter dinner.
One of them has some bruising on one leg.
Do I cook the non bruised parts and give the dogs the other parts.
Sorry, I am green on cooking our own chickens
I was going to roast the biggest and boil the smaller one for dumplings, he the one with a bruise..

The bruised part won't hurt you as long as it's not infected...it's just blood which is in the meat anyways. If you don't want to eat it it's perfectly fine for the dogs.

Thanks I thought that but wasn't sure.
My husband been laid off and Easter dinner was going to be pizza but I had way to many roosters so thought we enjoy them.
I still have two rooster for 10 hens.
Thanks again.
