The reason I mentioned the spurs is because I had a favorite Buff Brahma rooster die from injuries from dismounting his perch and getting his spur caught on the perch. He couldn't use the leg at all, and eventually wasted away. I had to euthanize him. You can easily twist them off with pliers. Look for videos on the internet. There are lots showing how easy it is.

I have a rooster than bleeds when his spurs are twisted off, so his spurs need to be filed down, not removed. Most do not bleed, however.

The bumblefoot treatment you've tried is obviously inadequate. The scab must be soaked for half an hour in warm Epstom salt and then removed. The soaking will loosen the scab so you may be able to get your thumb nail under it and lift it off, the puss kernel coming with it, usually.

People get put off my the word "surgery" when it really involves not much more than cleaning our the crater under the scab with a scraper or sharp object. Then I spray with Vetericyn and dress with antibiotic ointment and then bandage. If you do a good job on the bandage, he may return to the flock while he heals. You do need to repeat the soaks every few days until the wound heals, though.
