Ugh, had to clean up some pasty butt yesterday. We were selling a bird and we only just noticed that she had pasty butt 10mins before the guy arrived to pick her up. So we had to get wet tissues, some scissors and snip the poop feathers off. It was too dry to get off in time with the proper methods.
When we had finally finished cleansing her bottom, we found a disgusting colony of lice living under the poo. So we had to give her a hard-core de-licing before the guy arrived.
I think I'll have nightmares

If one of your chickens had lice all your other chickens probably have lice too.
