So came across my young healthy rooster who today has one of his eyes half closed and watery, anyone come across this before or know what to do?

Flush the eye with saline solution and apply Terramycin ointment twice a day for three days then re-evaluate. Hopefully he just dinged it during a scuffle and it's not something worse.

Exactly. It's difficult to diagnose an illness by looking at picture. Hopefully it's just a minor eye infection from an injury.

I have applied a special antibiotic liquid into his half closed eye so hopefully that will help him, I also noticed he has a black scab just under his eye lid meaning it potentially was a scratch or something and less likely to be an infection as only one of his eyes are showing this issue?
