Had a weasel or mink kill 10 out 17 hen's on Monday the 7 hens that surviveday are fine but my rooster looks beat up weak / stressed looks like he has bruseing around his eyes won't roost he has no wounds no blood or sings of blood walking with a limp but he's 7 years old he'sbeen beat up before by a younger roo had the limp after that I asume he put a up a fight for his girls should he be fine any thing I should do to help him I thinking he just tired sore stressed out from trying to save the girls on what I call the president's day slaying

Thanks my general tao he is a good boy hen not picking on him but I noticed he's having trubble eating kind pecks sideways but eats and drinks a friend said he could of had a stroke I'm not sure of that he just had a fight he's a trooper

Check his beak and jaw to make sure that he didn’t get a beak injury or broken jaw. Make a mash of chicken feed with a lot of water in a bowl for him. Sprinkle some bits of cooked egg or tuna on top. Sorry for your extreme loss. Make sure that all windows and openings are covered with 1/2 inch hardware cloth fencing.
