Rooster's beak tip broke when he got into it with the second roo. He's bleeding and it looks like the hard part of the top tip is dangling with a little bit of flesh as well.

I want to administer some type of first aid, but should I snip off this piece of flesh? I'm afraid that this is a nerve ending and will cause a lot of pain. But it's definitely going to come off at some point.....

And should I bandage it or will it heal on its own? Not sure how the poor guy will eat if it's bandaged....

Please help!!!

If you can, please share a photo-- it will allow us to make the best possible educated guesses as to how to help him! Some of us have dealt with broken beaks before, and how it is handled depends on the location and severity of the break...
