Rooster Hen

Submerging an animal while they are upside down is abuse, Cooking an animal would be more nicer then making a poor soul suffer, but i dont think you should cook an animal anyways.
im assuming but i dont know if its true, but if a human hangs upside down for too long the blood can go to their head, your organs put extra weight on your lungs, making it harder to breathe, you can also cause a blood vessel to rupture or trigger a brain hemorrhage, so if there having trouble breathing cause their organs are crushing the lungs then putting them in water while thats happening will only make the poor thing suffer. And if you treat an animal right then they wont want to hurt you, they will only peck you out of instinct.

I'd keep a close eye on him, there is NEVER a good reason to keep a bad roo. Their aggressive behavior can be extremely damaging to people and outright dangerous to any youngsters. Kids are closer to the ground and more likely to be attacked.

There is a glut of roosters desperately looking for homes, many good tempered ones that are not allowed in many areas. It's easier to bond with a well adjusted rooster than one you have to watch like a hawk.

Hanging a chicken upside down by the legs for a long period of time can damage its lungs but holding it by the legs for 5 seconds while you dunk him in water shouldn’t effect him in the slightest.

That might be the case. What I read was on a web page I scanned while looking for aggressive rooster solutions. The person who wrote it gave one solution and said that if that solution didn't work then go on to the next. I read the next solution that said to hold the chicken upside down but then after that was explained, in parenthesis, there was a warning that the rooster could die while doing this. So I left that page to look for other info.
I can no longer find the page in my history but If I google the subject I find people who say it is bad for the chickens and then people who say that it is not bad. Some people do it all the time and some people's chickens have died from it. But no professional or otherwise credible statement on the matter either way. So since there is a shadow of doubt for me, I will go without. Better safe than sorry. And I would be extremely sorry. Also I don't know if the chicken would accidentally inhale water and have that lead to respiratory issues or drowning so I personally would want to try that either.

When culling a chicken they are hanged upside down. Some people hold their chickens by the legs to prevent them from scratching and pecking them.
If you watch the RSPCA on tv, when they rescue chickens they hold them by the legs. I don’t see how this is abuse ? Vets do it all the time.

‘If you treat an animal right then they won’t want to hurt you’
I’m laughing so hard!

OH NO, THATS PURE ABUSE !!!

Grab the aggressive rooster by the legs for a split second then as your lowering him into the bucket put I’m on his belly so you don’t drown him, common sense people.
You can also tame an aggressive rooster by holding him down for 20 seconds, it actually works!
I knew there would be some angry vegan coming after my statement.
:lau

‘If you treat an animal right it won’t hurt you’ I’m still laughing.
So if I went out and fed a bunch of raccoons, do you think they would attack me ?

I do hold him down if he gets feisty. It seems to work. Only the few aggressive pecks have been the problem so far and they seem to be subsiding. Otherwise and all around he is well behaved and tame. He likes to sit with us and be petted and falls asleep on us. He treats the hen lovingly it seems. But if he does get aggressive toward her I will intervene by separating them.

I'm not on hear to fight with anyone.
