Rooster in a fight, Eye possibly damaged. Now, it looks like he broke his skull/upper top beak. Any

Your guys need a bachelor pen.keep the roosters who get along in a "bachelor pen",and once this guy heals, put him with the ladies.

The system that will probably prevail for the next month or two or three is that the injured rooster will stay in a rabbit hutch, the un-injured young rooster will roam free with his sister, and the 8 yr. old rooster will be with his big flock of hens.

I looked closely at how he moves his beak. Any fractures are probably more or less limited to his left side, most likely lower part of the beak and farther back in what I had labelled as green. Hopefully he'll pull though.

He as been drinking, though probably not eating as much as he should, but at least he's eaten a little bit. He has been noisy with his typical sounds, which should be indicative of him being okay in spirit, but he is also shaking just a tad.

I'm not certain what the garlic would do, so please enlighten me. Also, what is the best source of calcium for him? Would crushed egg shells do?

Garlic is good for antibiotics. You could either crush a clove to mix in his water or use fresh garlic juice/oil. A high chance he'll make it :) As for the calcium, crushed egg shells would do great just be sure you really crush them so they're easy to swallow for a roo with an injured beak.

I checked up on him when locking up the other birds. His bad eye is somewhat open, a slight improvement. The white eye covering is partialy over the corner, and though the pupil/iris border is distinct, the pupil maintains a red blurriness and seemingly permanent dilation, so I doubt he will regain vision. I tried the finger test and he didn't seem to react, but hen again, it was tough because he was moving around.

I have seen worse eye injuries. One of my oldest hens, Saphie (7yrs old) was attacked by a rat as a pullet and lost vision in one eye. It was damaged enough that I named her 'Sapphire' after its bright blue color.
