I have filmed it when I caught him before kicking his legs about trying to get up. He gets stuck dustbathing. Have pics in other thread about roo stuck on his back. I help him up when I find him but next time I'll wait a minute more to see if he can get up on his own. I don't think so though.OK. Well, if he does any falling on his back again, try to film it.
Can you link that thread here?Have pics in other thread about roo stuck on his back.
Not sure how to link thread, just web address..Can you link that thread here?
Sure sounds like he has some neurological issue, not uncommon with vaulted skulled birds.
I'd say that was the issue rather than age.
That's a link. Not sure how to link thread, just web address..

Could have been an accumulative long term vitamin deficiency...If neuro issue, strange how it would start now instead of earlier in his life? -he has given me fertilised eggs in the past.
I have had him since 6 months old and fed fresh poultry food grower or starter and occasionally vitamin water as an extra boost. Minimal treats. So not sure how it would be a deficiency although it does seem that way.. He's never had a predator attack or fight so not sure about an injury unless it happened before I got him and it's just showing up now which would be strange a year and half later. That's a link.Thanks.
