He’s still a little lethargic. He’s eating, but very little and slowly. And he’s being a real jerk to the hens, he’s usually a real gentleman.
Can't help ya on the jerk part...that might now change.

Hopefully this piece of wood was bothering him and now that it is gone and he is eating he may get some strength back.

Sorry, I can't think of anything else except maybe getting some vitamins and electrolytes in him.

NutriDrench is a good booster. Also, can you look at his vent and feel around the area? Maybe he's blocked up? Id watch for awhile and see if he's pooping normally. Maybe give him some wetted down food with coconut oil in it to lube up his insides?
I’ve been gone for a couple hours and as of now he seems to be moving around a little better. Hoping that piece of wood was the problem, not sure why he’s eating wood in the first place. He’s not the brightest thing..... I’ll try the coconut oil thing. As far as electrolytes, would pedialite or Gatorade work? I have both of those on hand. And thanks for the help everyone. Worried to death I’m gonna go out and find him pushing up daisies.

I hope not. That's always my fear too. Hopefully he is on the mend. :fl
