Rooster or hen?

Hi,

Rooster or hen? I was pretty sure these guys were roosters but they don’t crow and haven’t tried to mount any of the 30 hens in the pen. There are other roosters in the flock that don’t care about them also so I’m starting to wonder. Thoughts?

Cockerels.
If there are older cockerels or roosters in the flock, the younger boys likely won't crow or mount.

Agreed on the stunning part! Those guys are beautiful! Look at those hackle (?) feathers. And the grey colors are just gorgeous. Are they EEs?

Hi thanks for the post, yeah I was pretty sure they were Roos, maybe just a little hope they were hens still.

They are Blue Ameraucanas, pure. I Got one hen out of the three babies and these two Roos. I’ll probably keep them separate. Maybe give them their own flock later.
