i have had this hen for about a year now and i have never seen her lay and egg she has grown spurs and has a somewhat large comb. i do not know what breed "she" is but im curious as to whether she is a rooster or not.

Since you are not sure of her age, that may be playing a part in the lack of laying. She appears to be a pretty healthy looking bird and since you are seeing eggs from other birds it is unlikely that this is a dietary issue, etc. That said, it also seems you aren't completely certain she isn't laying - I would suggest separating her for a few days and then you'll know if she is/isn't laying. Yes, separation can disrupt laying, but that should take a day or two to really become an issue so you may see an egg before that arises and then know that she is, in fact, laying.she along with some other hens were given to me by a freind. i do not know the exact age but my guess is 2 - 3 years

"She" has been very aggressive to my younger orpingtons and rhode island reds. But is friendly towards people.
