I'd go ahead and start your own thread so that you aren't hi-jacking the OP's thread and so people can better focus just on your bird to avoid there being confusion between whether the answers given are for your bird or their bird.

-- see down below this post box where there are buttons that say "Post a Reply" and "Start a New Thread"? Click the "Start a New Thread" button and it will open a posting window that is for a brand new thread that is all your own -- did that help? If not I can try to explain it a bit differently
