Rooster overeating hens

I would hate to do that but i might have to since it’s not fair to the other hens and roosters. He’s one of my favorite roosters so getting rid of him isn’t an option. I wonder if rooster can be neutered?

You can, actually. It's called 'Caponize'....... you can even do it yourself if you dare. There are Youtube videos of it and I think a few folks in here have even done it themselves.

Caponizing him won’t change his aggressive mounting behavior.

Sounds like you really only have enough room for one rooster anyway. Pick the best one and eat the rest.

Surgical caponizing is a 'tricky' surgery and frequently results in the death of the bird. Hormone implants might be safer.

Those are bare minimums for “birds” not 6 roosters in one pen. Those pets might do a little better with more room.
